What Makes Weathertex Different

Plenty of cladding claims to be natural, durable or sustainable. Weathertex is the rare product that can prove all three, with independent certification, decades of history and a warranty behind it.

Truly natural

97% natural timber and 3% natural wax. The hardwood comes from PEFC certified state forests or controlled private sources. It is chipped, pulped and pressed with no added silica, glues, resins or formaldehydes.

Independently certified

The natural range was the first global product to receive GreenTag Platinum certification with a GreenRate Level A. Primed flat cladding and wall panels hold GreenTag Gold. Low VOC and low embodied energy.

Built to last

A density of 1000 kg/m³ and a minimum 32MPa rating make it tough. It is termite resistant and carries a warranty of up to 25 years against rot, splitting and cracking. Joints are watertight without silicone, backed by a mechanical flashing system.

Fast to install

Large, lightweight 9.5mm panels can be fitted by a single person using standard woodworking tools. It can be cut indoors, needs no silicones or adhesives, and matching accessories make it easy to mix profiles in one project.

Low maintenance

On average, repainting is needed only about every 15 years, and the smooth surface takes paint more easily than most alternatives.

Design freedom at scale

The largest architectural panelling available in Asia, plus a wide choice of profiles, textures and sizes. Natural and primed finishes combine easily, so designers can create more than one look in one project.

Trusted by the industry

Voted the most trusted brand in the building industry by Architecture & Design from 2016 to 2018, and named Supplier of the Year at the Australian Construction Awards.
