Poolside Pergolas and Jaali Screens Crafted with Weathertex Cladding
This private weekend retreat in Dubai shows how Weathertex can turn an outdoor leisure space into an architectural statement. Designed and executed by our partners in Dubai for VVIP clients, the residence centres on a stunning pool flanked by elegant cabana pergolas, each one finished for lasting beauty.
Weathertex Exteriorboards in Woodsman Natural were used as the cladding material for the poolside pergolas, giving each structure a warm, grounded presence against the shimmering blue water and manicured greens. The same boards were also fashioned into decorative Jaali screens, which filter the harsh Dubai sun over the pool loungers while casting delicate patterns of light and shade.
As seen in the project images, the intricate screen detailing and rich timber tones add character and craftsmanship to the entire setting. Coated with Intergrain Natural Stains, the installation is protected against heat, sun and moisture while retaining the natural warmth of the grain. The result is a refined, resort-style outdoor space that is built to last.

Material Used
Weathertex Exteriorboards, Woodsman Natural
Weathertex Exteriorboards in Woodsman Natural clad the poolside cabana pergolas, giving each structure a warm, grounded presence against the shimmering pool and manicured greens. The same boards were shaped into decorative Jaali screens that filter Dubai’s harsh sun into soft, shifting patterns of light over the pool loungers.
Intergrain Natural Stains
Intergrain Natural Stains were applied across the pergolas and Jaali screens to protect the timber from intense heat, sun and moisture, while preserving its natural grain. The result is a refined, resort-style finish built to withstand Dubai’s climate with minimal upkeep.
