A Bold Timber Facade Crafted with Glued Laminated Timber (GLT)

For Amelia at One BKC, BeautexWood was entrusted with creating a striking outdoor timber façade that reflects the restaurant’s refined European aesthetic while delivering long-term structural performance.

The entire exterior structure was engineered and fabricated using Glued Laminated Timber (GLT)—a high-strength engineered wood that allows for superior stability, larger spans, and exceptional durability. Once installed, the timber was finished in a deep black coating, transforming the natural wood into a bold architectural statement while preserving its warmth and texture.

The result is a façade that combines the timeless character of timber with contemporary sophistication, creating an inviting entrance that complements the restaurant’s premium dining experience.
